Summary GeoVera---s Earthquake Insurance products are designed

GeoVera sales professionals are customer-focused, positive,

connect and communicate in a fast-paced environment and adapt
easily to changes, we want to know more about you As an Inside
Sales Leader, you will contact agents (or prospects) to sell
earthquake insurance and increase awareness of the GeoVera brand.
You will have an opportunity to provide an extraordinary agency or
customer experience of our products in select Western states via
outbound telephone contacts, inbound phone calls, email, on-line
video chats, or internal transfers. We will count on you to provide
counseling on insurance needs, product availability, marketing,
training, and provide quotes. You will be trained in writing
earthquake insurance, including proficiencies on our supported
technology platforms. Essential Functions Responds to incoming
calls/emails from personal lines insurance agents or prospects and
uses multiple internal and external resources and best practices to
consult with and educate clients about coverage needs Performs
outbound calls and follow-up work to close increase sales as stated
in best practices. Solicits outbound potential agents (or
customers), who have low quote volumes to overcome objections and
identify grow potential. Collaborates with sales colleagues and
forwards identified referrals to other field sales managers as
appropriate. Answers questions, provides explanations, and makes
recommendations to agents regarding appropriate products in certain
states Educates agent on our rating platform, agent portal,
resource center and external website. Assists and contributes to
the team's quotas/goals by meeting individual quotas/goals, as well
as unit/team goals. Maintains current understanding and proficiency
in sales techniques and product offerings, keeps up to date with
state guidelines, market conditions and competitors, and systems
enhancements. Serves as subject matter expert which may include
system changes, user acceptance testing, new product releases and
assistance in the roll out and adoption with peers. Participates in
user meetings with IT, project team, and consultants. Assigned to
miscellaneous projects. Minimum Requirements Education, training,
and experience: Bachelor---s Degree, Associate---s Degree and/or
equivalent combination of High School Diploma/GED, training and
work experience. Three or more years related work experience.
Minimum 12 months successful sales experience. Prefer exposure to
telemarketing in an insurance agency or insurance call center
environment. Active Property and Casualty License preferred, or
Ability to obtain Property and Casualty License within first 6
months of employment and maintain licensing requirements as a
requirement of continued employment. CA based individual Knowledge,
skills, and abilities: Must have excellent communication skills,
both written and verbal Advanced knowledge of or ability to learn
quickly about personal lines insurance products, insurance
processing systems and procedures, best practices, state
regulations and customer service practices. Strong ability to
influence agents to select GeoVera earthquake products. Basic
proficiency in word, PowerPoint, and excel applications desirable.
