General Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing the Company's Logistics
and Transportation function to contribute the customer satisfaction
at maximum level. The duties include coordinating shipping
activities with transportation carriers to meet delivery needs for
finished products, processing orders and follow up in-transit
orders to confirm on-time deliveries and In-Full deliveries. The
duties include through follow up on in and out bound transaction
to/from warehouse for every order. Performance is evaluated by OSP
with high focus on On-Time delivery and In-Full element.
Essential Job Functions
Shipping Administrative Activities --- Responsible for maintain and
improve On-Time and In-Full delivery performance for commercial
customer deliveries through external/internal communication,
accurate order processes accurate system handling and defect
preventive actions. --- Responds to logistics related complaints
(In-Full) from commercial customers with necessary counter actions
such as sending balance of shortage or replacement of damaged
product: Process for necessary internal communications with
concerned role and department to take actions. --- Maintain and
collaboratively work with warehouse vendor to provide the
commercial customers with the best quality delivery services in
cost effective fashion. --- Coordinates mode of transportation with
carriers and/or transportation brokers to provide the commercial
customers with the best quality delivery services in cost effective
fashion. --- Prepares and processes documents for carriers and/or
transportation brokers to arrange transportation for both in and
out bound; Assures process by contacting carriers and/or
transportation brokers. --- Transmits pick-up and delivery forecast
to carrier and/or transportation brokers for early preparedness.
--- Transmits order placement information via e-mail and EDI to
carrier and warehouse vendor /or transportation brokers. ---
Thoroughly follow up transit and delivery status for every order
through communication with carriers and/or transportation brokers.
- --- Initiates corrective actions in timely fashion when
transportation related especially shipping related warehouse
problem occurs. --- Monitor aging to maintain integrity of product
freshness and prepare disposal orders when necessary for expired,
damaged or short-coded inventory. --- Process order information in
the order processing system to record shipment and delivery status
as well as to make invoice related entries. --- Files documents
related to order processing. --- Submits freight documentation to
Accounting Department after freight has arrived to complete
purchase order transaction. --- Key in orders in Log Sheet to keep
all records for use of tracking. --- Supervise and control
logistics suppliers through appropriate communications and
follow-up. --- Conduct On-Time delivery and In-Full improvement
activity as directed by SCM / Logistics Manager.
Other & Miscellaneous --- Seeks constant improvement, more
efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes. ---
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as
assigned by manager and other senior Calbee North America
management. --- Key in data for On Time delivery and In-Full Date
with detailed comments for analysis and improvement activities. ---
Maintains high ethical standards in the work place. --- Reports all
irregular issues and problems to management for solution. ---
Maintains good communication with other managers, Calbee North
America staff & outside contacts. --- Complies with all company
policies and procedures. --- Responsible for maintaining a clean
and safe working area.

Qualifications Education & Work Experience --- High school diploma
or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience. --- Six or more months of previous work experience
in related field.

fax, copier, calculator, personal computer, etc. --- Software
includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office
applications, Great Plains, etc.
