Job Description:

Peraton is seeking a DevOps server administrator to join the Information Technology team on the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program, part of the Navy's Tomahawk Missile program. This role is based in Santa Clara, CA, and requires onsite work.The primary responsibilities include maintaining and securing the CI/CD pipeline environment, managing operating systems and applications, and providing technical support and mentorship.What you'll do:

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure DevOps Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Azure DevOps issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance and implement scalability, security, and performance improvements.
• Configure management, access controls, and security policies within Azure DevOps.
• Mentor junior administrators and engineering teams, promoting DevOps best practices.
• Manage CI/CD applications like ModernRequirements4DevOps, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Perform backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Support internal teams with application and server usage guidance.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Qualifications:What you'll need:

• 5 years with a BS/BA or 3 years with an MS/MA in a relevant field.
• Deep understanding of Azure DevOps Server architecture, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities.
• Proven experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer focusing on Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and scripting with PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SonarQube and JFrog Artifactory is helpful.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• At least 3 years of experience with Windows Server and RHEL Enterprise.Note: Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
