Reliant Property Management manages a diverse set of multifamily assets owned by our affiliated company Reliant Group Management. Currently we operate in 7 Western States and have 140 team members with plans to expand.

*POSITION SUMMARY: *

Reliant Property Management is looking for an HR Generalist who will provide general HR support across the organization as well as support in benefits and payroll.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers to help them with their human resource needs.

*CLASSIFICATION: * Full-time, Exempt

*COMPENSATION: * $65,000-$75,000, DOE, plus comprehensive benefits package.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES: *

* Under direction of the Director of HR, carry out general HR support in any key HR areas such as: educating staff on current policy, benefit administration, onboarding, reporting, processing new hires, employee changes and terminations, payroll support, worker's compensation administration, recruitment and job postings, training, and general recordkeeping and compliance with legal and company standards
* Meet with new hires on their first day to complete necessary paperwork and to review benefits materials and paperwork.
* Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, PTO, and other leaves, and ensure that the Payroll Manager receives information timely.
* Assist hiring managers with preparing an on-boarding plan for each new hire prior to their start date, and check-in with new hires to ensure they are assimilating and getting necessary support.
* Complete forms as required by state and federal employment agencies and departments for review by Director of HR.
* Experience in WC issues, serve on the risk management team as an HR liaison.
* Help ensure employee files (and benefit files) are up to date and organized.
* Perform other duties as assigned or required
* Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
* Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
* Assist with payroll and benefits administration
* Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
* All other duties as assigned

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
* Solid HR experience (3 or more years); HR certification a plus
* Benefit administration experience (2 or more years)
* Familiarity with leaves of absence and CA labor law
* Experience with Paylocity (or similar HRIS) preferred; payroll experience a huge plus
* Have a strong preference for working with great tools and be comfortable working with or learning the tools we use (Paylocity, Microsoft 365, Teams, etc.).
* Intermediate or greater knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Commitment to creating and enforcing high standards
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
* Ability to work independently and to serve as an advocate of the company with employees, vendors, etc.
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work on multiple projects (within constantly changing priorities) with enthusiasm, excellent prioritization skills
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt; ability to meet deadlines and objectives
* Excellent oral and written communication, ability to work under shifting deadlines, needs, etc.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and to provide positive support and enthusiasm to employees (and all staff, visitors, etc.)
* Must be insurable by company auto insurance (some travel to and from locations is required)
