the RoleAmcor's first priority is to ensure the safety of our
co-workers. The Packaging Operator must safely operator the various
packaging equipment on a 12-hour shift and ensure that both quality
and productivity meet Amcor standards.Safety first - be aware of
and abide by company safety policies and procedures at all
timesComplete quality checks as required and communicate quality
issues to the Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor and Quality
DepartmentMaintain a high degree of housekeeping at all time,
keeping equipment and work area clean and organizedEnsure equipment
is in good and safe working condition and communicate to the Shift
Lead, Shift Supervisor and Maintenance when mechanical issues
arise.Effectively run the packaging equipment, being aware of your
surroundings to ensure conveyer lines are free of
blockagesAccurately complete all required paperwork and hand in at
the end of shiftAttend daily shift meetings and training as
requiredAbility to perform duties for 12-hour shift in a plant
manufacturing settingComplete all other tasks assignedPhysical
