As our Branch and Corporate Services Manager you will manage the
staff, activities, development and implementation of quality
services that provide support to the branches and contribute to the
achievement of the Bank's identified business goals.
- Supports branches through the development and implementation of
cost effective branch operations, policies and procedures, in
conjunction with Regional Service Managers. Directs all Corporate
- Develops objectives for department, monitors performance and
directs the activities of subordinate managers to ensure quality
customer service and support is consistently delivered to branches
and other support departments. Ensures these objectives are
communicated through appropriate manuals and operational bulletins
published by subordinate staff. Establishes budgets and staffing
levels for the department. Reviews and recommends all staffing
- Oversees and develops policies, procedures and systems to
ensure accurate reporting of transactions and review, monitoring
and analysis of customer transactions. Oversees annual branch
reviews and spot-checks of operational functions by examining
branch records and observing activities.
- Functions as user executive and system owner of the teller and
safe box systems.
- Serves as the department's Business Unit Compliance Officer.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of all laws and regulations
affecting designated areas of responsibility. Keeps abreast of new
and changing laws and regulations. As needed, formulates and
updates policies and procedures/job aids which incorporate
regulatory requirements and disseminates information to employees.
Assists division management with the development and implementation
of a comprehensive compliance risk assessment. Ensures internal
controls that mitigate compliance risk are established, maintained,
and applied in practice. Completes assigned compliance training
courses, BCG, and Bank regulating agencies' training affecting
designated areas of responsibility and disseminates the
information, as appropriate, with colleagues and employees.
Participates in the Regulatory Compliance Committee meetings.
- Participates in other special projects and performs other
job-related duties as assigned.
- Extensive operational support managerial experience in the
financial services industry with extensive working knowledge of
operational activities that support branch structures and
associated banking regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, management
and interpersonal skills.
- Branch management experience preferred.
