Machine Operator (High Speed or Depositing Line)FULL-TIME $26/hr The open vacancies are in our Fairfield, CA and Burlingame facility. They consist of either operating a chocolate depositing line which creates the chocolate chips, or operating high-speed/high volume filling, packaging and palletizing equipment. You will be expected to start/stop, operate, observe, evaluate, adjust, and maintain cleanliness of the equipment. Assume responsibility for providing production-related support by following written and verbal instructions to ensure that personnel and product safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, Quality regulations and efficiency standards are being met at all times. Provide further operational support by effectively communicating with other employees at all levels, line status and performance. ---Responsible for setting up and operating high-speed/high volume machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures and standards, equipment troubleshooting, quality control inspections, line sanitation, and related record keeping---Conduct equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands---Conduct quality inspections on the processes, packaging materials, and finished products---Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and make basic repairs---Read and use equipment manuals and diagrams---Record production output, quality results, and reasons for equipment downtime ---Regular, predictable, full-time attendance is required as essential function of this position---Other duties as assignedSFO-03 WS-03 ScheduleShift start: 6:30AM or 3:00PM or 11:00PMShift length: 8 - 12 hoursShift 1: 6:50a - 3:20p Shift 2: 3:10p - 11:10p amd Shift 3: 11p-7a Benefits* Health, dental, vision insurance - available after 90 days* Paid time off* 401(k) planQualifications* Must pass drug screen* Must pass background check* Can lift 50 lbs* Must be at least 18+ years oldAbout Guittard ChocolateFounded in 1868 and Headquartered in Burlingame, California.
