Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer
Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and
online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google.
Not afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client
libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support
queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers
encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams to
improve our products by conveying feedback from developers,
reviewing API designs and testing new features. Chrome, Android,
App Engine, HTML5 as well as our core Google Apps and Ads APIs are
just some of the platforms you promote and support. With your
technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a
community of developers who work with Google technologies. An
ardent advocate for these developers, you represent their voice
internally to our Product Managers and serve as their Google
support in application development and technology implementation.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to foster
a community of developers building with Google technologies.
Balancing external leadership with internal advocacy, you will
build technical demos using TPUs, speak at industry conferences,
mentor the developer community, and test products to ensure they
meet developers' needs. The US base salary range for this full-time
position is $163,000-$237,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary
ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the
range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Design and build demos, courses, and technical
guides that inspire developers and empower them to succeed with
Cloud TPU using a combination of JAX, PyTorch, and open-source
libraries for pre-training, post-training, and inference. Engage in
AI/ML technical communities and maintain a professional social
media presence. Identify emerging trends, mentor developers, and
foster community that amplifies Google’s TPU ecosystem. Support
product launches by creating reference implementations, code
examples, and high-visibility content for social media or
conferences (Cloud Next, Google I/O). Act as a partner with product
and engineering teams to improve the developer experience.
Represent the developer community and advocate for their needs.
Provide product feedback from initial design discussions and early
testing to post-launch improvements.
