Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of
experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years
of experience in product management, with a focus on platform
products, APIs, or developer tools. Experience building platforms
and API life-cycle management, API gateways, or related API
technologies. Preferred qualifications: 3 years of experience in a
role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior
leadership. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with
engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
Experience with API protocols (e.g., OpenAPI, gRPC) and API
security best practices. Knowledge of distributed systems,
microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Ability to
influence and collaborate across multiple teams in a changing
environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to
translate technical concepts for technical and non-technical

that AI agents need to operate responsibly. The team ensures

range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 bonus equity
benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

idea, strategy, and roadmap for AI agent-tailored API management,
ensuring alignment, and broader Google AI initiatives through
continuous market and developer analysis. Lead the development of
AI-native discovery mechanisms and tool interfaces, leveraging
protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable agents to
find and utilize APIs via agent-consumable metadata. Design and
implement policy enforcement frameworks covering access control,
data handling, and responsible AI in addition to collaborating with
security and ethics teams to ensure adaptable, secure agent
interactions. Oversee the full lifecycle of APIs integrated into
agent workflows, managing version compatibility and deprecation to
maintain stable, reliable agentic behaviors. Partner with
engineering, UX, and research teams to deliver intuitive
infrastructure and well-documented APIs, prioritizing developer
velocity and tool orchestration without compromising safety.
