Job Description:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer who is passionate about helping
healthcare organizations transform their revenue cycle operations
through cutting-edge AI technologies. As a Sales Engineer, you will
partner closely with our sales, marketing, and engineering teams to
engage prospects, understand their technical environments and
challenges, and reveal compelling AI solutions that showcase the
value of our platform. You will be responsible for pre-sale
technical discovery, use case education, demos, and exploring the
art of the possible with prospects alongside our sales team. Your
work will help prospects clearly envision how Thoughtful’s AI
Agents can be deployed effectively within their systems and
processes to drive measurable outcomes. This is a fast-paced,
customer-facing role for someone who loves solving complex
problems, communicating technical solutions with clarity, and
influencing strategic buying decisions. Key Responsibilities
Partner with sales to engage prospective customers during the
discovery and solutioning phases. Conduct deep technical discovery
to understand customer systems, workflows, data, and integration
needs. Translate business problems into technical solution
proposals, in collaboration with engineering. Deliver compelling
technical presentations and customized demos of our AI Agent
solutions. Build confidence with technical stakeholders by
addressing integration, security, and architecture questions. Scope
solution designs that align with customer goals and position
deployments for success. Support pilots and proof-of-concept
initiatives to validate technical feasibility and ROI. Maintain
strong feedback loops with product and engineering to inform
roadmap priorities based on market needs. What Success Looks Like

within their environment and deliver value. Solution designs are
realistic, technically sound, and set up customers for smooth
implementation. Pre-sales activities accelerate deal velocity and
increase win rates. Customers view you as a trusted technical
advisor during their buying journey. Minimum Qualifications 3-6
years of experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting,
technical pre-sales, product management, or a similar
customer-facing technical role. 1-2 years of experience in
healthcare, especially in RCM or similar health tech. Strong
technical background with a deep understanding of APIs,
integrations, data models, automation, and security considerations.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to architect
creative solutions that align to customer needs. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify
complex topics for diverse audiences. Comfortable engaging with
both business and technical stakeholders in a consultative selling
motion. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth
