Job Description:

Groome Industrial Service Group is a growing company located in Fairfield, NJ, providing specialty maintenance services nationwide for several industries including natural gas-fired power generation, shipping, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and aerospace.
The position will report to the Director of HRSG Sales.
Job Description:

• Develop new business in Midwest US Power market with focus on power plants employing gas turbines with SCR and HRSG/Refinerytechnology.
• Cold calling new accounts to achieve annual sales growth goals.
• Coordinate site visits with customers to formalize project scopes, gather information, and to close existing sales opportunities.
• Work with Engineering to understand client requirements and gather all needed process and site data to accurately define scope and competitive situation.
• Maintain customer contact through all sales phases including project execution. This role is the primary point of contact with all clients.
• Provide presentations to educate existing and potential clients on all Groome Industrial services and to advance sales opportunities.
• Negotiations with customers to come to agreeable terms between all parties.
• Assist with marketing planning / execution and attend trade shows to promote services.
• Maintain/update customer contact information within CRM along with account and opportunity updates.
• Support operational efforts, as needed, to ensure seamless execution.
  Requirements:
  
  • Excellent communication skills - technical writing and presentation skills
  • Experience within the industrial services space, preferably within the Power industry
  • Analytical reasoning to provide technical solutions to client requirements
  • Overnight travel required
  • Safety focus
  • Goal oriented
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Contact Relationship Software)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Candidate to be located in the Midwest US but accommodations can be made for the right individual.
    Salary/benefits:
    
    • Base salary based on experience with uncapped commission, phone, computer, etc. provided by Groome.
