Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility Customer Services is seeking a Product Manager
Alternative Parts to lead its alternative part development business
based in Sacramento, CA. Customer Services is the service arm for
Siemens Mobility rolling stock products (Light Rail Vehicles, and
Main Transit Lines), covering customer needs throughout North
America.
As the product manager for the alternative parts program, you will
expand and improve the current service vision for existing products
and develop an ongoing strategy of new product development and
sales. You will analyze market and competitive conditions to strike
a clear path toward the business value of Siemens developed parts
and move the offerings to the next level of growth and service.
In this role one will look at parts life cycle management and
address material end of life with potential solutions to offer
products with new life cycles and you will use your new product
development skills to create a portfolio of "form-fit-function"
parts equivalents for customers. This role may encompass
replacement of obsolete hardware or developing new alternative
parts with better performance than original equipment.

salary range for this position in California is $89,000-$120,100.
The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on
budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and
qualifications.
