with Epic charting system Description: This role is focused on case
management. Candidates must have at least two years of experience.
First-time travelers are accepted with clinical approval. There is
a requirement to work two weekends every six weeks. Call is not
required for this position. Travelers will need to float between
similar units based on need. Local candidates are accepted. All
request for time off must be included at the time of submission.
The charting system used is Epic. Candidates should be familiar
with ambulatory, behavioral health, home health, and hospice care.
Experience with insurance companies, long-term acute care, and
rehabilitation services is preferred. Candidates should also have
experience in trauma level I and II settings. Traveler experience
is required. Proficiency in disability case management and disease
management is essential. Understanding and utilizing InterQual
criteria is necessary. Familiarity with CPT coding and billing, as
well as ICD-10 coding, is required. Knowledge of the requirements
set by CMS, OSHA, and The Joint Commission is expected. Experience
participating in family meetings and developing treatment plans is
important. Candidates must be able to arrange durable medical
equipment, skilled nursing facility placement, and ambulance
transport independently. Computerized documentation skills are
required. The ability to float between various facilities within
the same state is expected. Refusal to float may impact assignment
and guaranteed hours. Communication devices needed for duties will
be provided by the client at no cost. Modules associated with the
position are typically non-billable and require self-reporting of
