Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Child Life Specialist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 26 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Position Details - Job Title: Certified Child Life Specialist - Facility Name: UCSF Health Medical Center at Mission Bay - Work Location: 1500 Owens St, San Francisco, CA 94158 - Unit: Child Life Services (Pediatrics) - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 26 Weeks - Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) - Schedule: 5x8s - Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week - Number of Positions: 1 Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred) - Completion of 600-hour Child Life Internship (in-person) - Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam - BLS Certification required - Acute Care experience preferred - Experience with Epic charting system preferred About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
