Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position will be based in both facility-based and home-based settings, providing crucial support in physical therapy services as part of our comprehensive patient care model. As a member of our team, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans that help patients regain or improve their mobility and manage pain after injury or illness. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Document patient progress and report to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Participate in patient assessments and contribute to treatment planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and treatments. Proficiency in documenting and managing medical records. Adaptability to work in various healthcare settings. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in practicing state. CPR certified.
