ICU/Critical Care RN in Oakland, California, 94609! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: 3 years of ICU experience required License: Current
registered nurse license Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIH
Must-Have: - 3 years of RN ICU experience - 6 months travel
experience Description: RN ICU/CPU position available.
Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Weekend
requirements include every other weekend and as needed based on
unit needs. On-call duty may be necessary. Candidates must be
flexible and willing to float to other units as needed. Travelers
may receive short notice prior to shift start time. A shuttle
service is provided for those who float to other campuses. The unit
manages patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. The
RN will provide care to patients on ECMO, assist with GI surgery,
and manage various IV protocols. Additional skills include
interpreting dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, and management of ventilated
patients. The facility cares for adults with diagnoses such as
sepsis, acute kidney injury, respiratory failure, and more.
Interdisciplinary support includes therapy, respiratory services,
and rapid response teams. Candidates must provide a complete work
history for the past 7 years for verification. Please note that any
background checks or discrepancies must be disclosed prior to
consideration. Only one holiday request will be approved during the
