Job Description:
Vituity, a leader in healthcare management services, is seeking
a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Medical Director to
bridge the gap between administrative leadership and clinical
staff. You will join a team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes
through innovative care in fields such as emergency medicine,
hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute
psychiatry. Our ideal candidate will have profound clinical
experience combined with exceptional leadership skills, prepared to
drive strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies
within medical services. Assist the Medical Director in overseeing
clinical operations and maintaining high standards of care within
the department. Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and
implement clinical programs that improve patient outcomes and
operational efficiency. Provide guidance and mentorship to medical
staff, fostering a collaborative environment to improve skill
levels and morale. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
and standards across all areas of responsibility. Participate in
the review and analysis of patient care reports, leading quality
improvement initiatives. Assist in the recruitment, training, and
evaluation of medical staff to ensure the department is staffed
with qualified individuals. Proven leadership capabilities and
strong organizational skills. Expert knowledge in one or more of
the clinic specialties provided by Vituity: emergency medicine,
critical care, anesthesiology, or psychiatry. Ability to multitask
and manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively
collaborating with various levels of hospital staff and
administration. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Board certification in a recognized specialty
related to emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care,
anesthesiology, or psychiatry. Current state medical license.
