Job Description:
Well known Non-Profit Behavioral Health Agency is hiring for a
Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health to manage portfolio of
Behavioral Health programs. This is a wonderful agency that has
been serving the community for over 40 years and integral to help
the vulnerable populations of Solano County. - This position is
ideal for a Program Manager or Director with at least 2 years of
management experience especially dealing with non profits or grant
funded programs.The Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health -is
responsible to oversee a system of Outpatient care for individuals
requiring intensive case management, mental health and rehab
services. -Together -they -serve -as -a -uniquely -linked -service
-system -of -care -within -the -region. Ensures program activities
comply with contracts and funder requirements. Supervises staff
both directly and indirectly through intermediary supervisors. Acts
as a liaison with government agencies, the community and the public
relative to funding, contracts and delivery of services.
Participates as a member of the regional senior management team in
the development and implementation of policies and programs that
will contribute to overall success. -The -Program -Director
-provides -supervision -and -work -direction -to: -2 -FTE
-Assistant -Program Directors, -approximately -15 -FTE -Case
-Managers , -3 -Peer -Support -Specialists and 2 Administrative

- Provide -clinical -leadership -and -support -to -the -staff,
-assure the excellence -of -the -quality -of -care -provided by
-the -program, -and -ensure -that -the -program -is -managed -in
-accordance -with -the -principles -of -social rehabilitation -and
-recovery.
- Recruit, -hire, -supervise, -manage -performance -and
-terminate -as -necessary -all -program -staff -in -consultation
-with -the -Director -of -Services.
- Supervise -and -evaluate -Assistant -Program -Directors,
-Clinicians, -Case -Managers -and -other -programs
- Ensure -that -Case -Managers -receive -Clinical -Supervision
-on -a -weekly -basis -by -a -2 -year -post -licensed -clinical
-supervisor, -currently -provided -by -internal -and -external
-supervisors.
- Provide -weekly -Administrative -Supervision -and -Clinical
-Direction -to -Assistant -Program -Directors -who -will -in -turn
-meet -with -staff -on -a -weekly -basis -for -the -same.
- Oversee -the -coordination -and -evaluation -of -all -client
-referrals -to -the -program -and -the -management -of -admissions
-and -discharges.
- Ensure -that -client -treatment -and -rehabilitation -is
-coordinated -among -all -those -involved, -including -medical
-providers, -other -providers, -and -family -members.
- Develop -and -maintain -productive -working -relationships
-with -County -staff -and -other -system -providers, -and -actively
-participate -in -meetings that -affect -the -program.
- Ensure -that -all -staff -members -are -trained -relevant -to
-the -needs -of -their -positions, -including -documentation
-standards, -documentation -timeline -
- Participate -in -Leadership -meetings, -including -discussions
-regarding -agency-wide -program -development -and -operation -and
-emerging -issues -that -may -affect -client -care -or -the -agency
-in -general.
- Monitor -contract -and -budget -performance -and -work -closely
-with -the -Director -of -Services -to -ensure -all -contract
-requirements -are -being -met.
- Monitor -staff -performance -relative -to -client -care,
-contact -with -clients, -and -quality -of -clinical -care.
- Participate -with -the -Director -of -Services -and -Finance
-Department -to -Develop -Program -Budgets, -attend -monthly
-financial -reviews, -and -performance -standards.
- Participate -in -County -sponsored -DEI -activities,
-participate -in -Solano -Region -DEI -Work -Group, -and -attend
-Agency-wide -DEI -Committee -meetings.
- Identify -needs -for -new -services -and -gaps -in -existing
-services, -advocate -for -their -development,Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master's degree and CA BBS registration. Licensed
candidates strongly preferred (LMFT, LCSW, etc).
- Two years of responsible leadership experience in management or
supervisory positions.
- Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and
management.
- Skills should include organizational development, personnel
management, budget and resource development, and strategic
planning; demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to
manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high
