        WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING---


        • Coordinate and administer safety program and accident prevention measures. -

        • Direct and oversee weekly/monthly supervisor safety meetings.
        • Administer and improve Employee Safety Orientation Training Program for new hires and current employees.
        • Administer and improve Employee Safety Handout that conveys plant rules, policies, procedures, etc.
        • Administer OSHA Required Programs (Including Training Aspects) such as: -Hazard Communication (GHS), Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protection Program, Lockout/Tag-out Program, Emergency Action Plans, Blood Bourne Pathogens, Occupational Noise Exposure, etc.)
        • Responsible for claims management.
        • Administer Return to Work Program.
        • Ensure usage of PPO Clinics.
        • Administer the Workers' Drug Free Workplace Program as stipulated by the BWC. - -
        • Conduct accident/injury investigations with supervisors in a timely manner.
        • Monitor workplace conditions and employee performance to enforce safety policies and procedures and to reduce/eliminate hazards, including ergonomics. -
        • Ensure drug and/or alcohol tests are done according to company policy for post-accident and probable cause and that appropriate actions are taken based on results.
        • Obtain Certificates of Insurance from Contractors.
        • Direct and oversee the nursing/health care and safety staff. -
        • Ensure the Security of the facility maintain in an acceptable level as approved from management. - Work as the point of contact and person responsible for the security firm hired to monitor the plant.
        • Assist in the administration of the Process Safety Management Program and Risk Management Plan.
          WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM---

          • Ideally you'll have a Bachelor degree in natural science environmental science or engineering.
          • You must have at least 4 years of experience in environmental management, ideally within the food production industry.
          • Must be proficient with technology and computers.
          • Must be familiar with compliance databases such as eCAT and Incident Tracker. -
          • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
            THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT---

            • You will be working around wastewater management systems.
            • You'll need to be able to walk, twist, bend and lift various weights.
              THE DETAILS---Most benefits become effective after 30 days of employment, and you'll be eligible to participate in the 401k savings program after 1 year. Team members must meet eligibility requirements to earn benefits and incentives.
