Role:Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Clinical Supervisor has the responsibility for direct supervision of school-base mental health clinicians' providers in the Solano County Program. This position provides supervision and oversight of the clinical work and administrative tasks of the clinician, programmatic leadership and oversight of assigned administrative tasks. In addition, this position will provide training and support to clinicians and coordination with school personnel.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership and supervision to school-based mental health clinician's clinical and administrative work.Provide leadership and oversight of assigned administrative tasks (e.g. QA, training, recruiting, and facilities).Work closely with clinical staff to ensure that providers fulfill their job requirements (e.g. productivity requirement, timeliness of notes, documentation requirements, professional conduct, competence in their role)Work closely with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure that providers' documentation meet Medi-Cal standardsAttend required agency meetingsEnsure that providers follow regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting, program/agency protocols-policies and proceduresProvide coordination and collaboration with school staff and school district personnelPerform other duties as directedLicensed psychologist, social worker or marriage and family therapistLicensed for 2 years with 3 to 5 years relevant experienceWell-organized, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and works well with colleaguesExperience in a leadership and/or administrative role providing supervisionExperience working as a mental health clinician in the schoolsKnowledge and experience providing behavioral health services to children and families in kindergarten through high schoolRelevant clinical experienceUnderstanding and desire to work with a strength-based clinical modelUnderstanding the DSM-5, assessments and treatment plansKnowledge of HIPAA requirements and Medi-Cal documentationPossess interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other agencies, school staff, and the publicAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of various types of records including personnel, client and clinical informationExcellent organizational, computer and communication skillsAbility to pass various background checks needed to work with childrenWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office and or community setting. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may vary based on business need.TravelLocal travel to various worksites is required.Work Authorization/Security ClearanceEmployees must pass a background check and receive TB and health clearances prior to employment.
