We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: Job DescriptionPRIDE IndustriesJob DescriptionJob: Operations and Rehabilitation ManagerJob Code: H66 - PR-Operations Rehab MgrHR Title Group: Rehabilitation ServicesSalary Grade: E13FLSA Status: ExemptApproval Date: August 2019SUPERVISES: There are direct reports with this position.POSITION SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, the Operations and Rehabilitation Manager manages the business operations of a PRIDE facility. Employees in this job class organize work and manage staff in a variety of production and/or service related functions that may include rehabilitation, supported employment services, customer service, and business development. This job requires knowledge of business administration, budgeting, resource management, and the ability to manage the delivery of quality services while meeting the job needs of people with disabilities.TYPICAL DUTIES:1. *Manages a full range of business operations within a production facility, and oversees the efficient and cost effective administration of related systems and processes. 2. *Collaborates with executive and corporate level personnel to develop facility performance objectives that support the Company's business development and service strategies. 3. *Supervises employees; ensures a competent, motivated team through hiring, training, development, counseling and reviewing the performance of employees. 4. *Organizes and assigns work, and ensures that it is performed according to standardized processes and in adherence to organizational policies and procedures. 5. *Ensures that facility is compliant with regulatory, safety and licensing standards and requirements, and is properly prepared for audits. 6. *Develops annual site or facility budget including documentation, monitoring, and cost control. 7. *Implements new contracts or changes to existing contracts including pricing, terms and conditions. 8. *Supports and works with upper management and marketing teams to develop new business. 9. * Establishes and maintains professional relationships with local businesses, community organizations and Company personnel. 10. *Works directly with funding agencies to ensure rehabilitation and employment services meet agreed upon standards and requirements. 11. *Conducts and participates in a wide variety of staff and other internal and external meetings. 12. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.* Denotes Essential Job FunctionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:--- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; --- Five or more years of experience in business operations including three years in a supervisory role; --- Knowledge and training in Food Safety (HACCP) and Food Protection programs, National Organic Program (NOP), California Health and Safety Code, Division 104, Part 5 - Sherman Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law: 2008, and FDA's Quality System Regulations, preferred; --- Depending on needs of specific position, requires either: experience in production planning and management with understanding of supply chain management concepts; or work experience in rehabilitation, familiarity with the laws surrounding rehabilitation, and knowledge of Title 17 regulations; --- Knowledge of the workplace and job needs of persons with disabilities or physical challenges; --- Budget management and analysis skills;--- Knowledge of government or commercial contract terms and requirements; --- Some positions require understanding of supply chain management concepts and/or contract manufacturing techniques; --- Supervisory skills to hire qualified employees, provide for their professional development, administer performance management and disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately; --- Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet production/service goals while adhering to safety policies and rules; --- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by senior management, customers and/or employees; --- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills; --- Exceptional customer service skills; --- Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team, customers and public; --- Advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software; --- Knowledge of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation; --- Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; --- Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business, operational and strategic management problems; --- Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors in Business Administration or related fieldCERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:Not ApplicablePHYSICAL REQURIEMENTS: Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance: --- Maneuvering in and around worksite --- Viewing computer screen/monitor --- Utilizing keyboard --- Transporting to various sitesWORK ENVIROMENT:Work is performed in a business office environment and at times on production floors and warehouse. Employees may be exposed to dust and noise form equipment from production floor and/or warehouse. Occasional travel is required. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
