Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer the Company's academic affairs and ensure students
are well served as they progress through all aspects of the student
life cycle.
- Ensure that the educational objectives of the company are met
by establishing academic goals and strategies to achieve those
goals and by implementing the Company's Mission and Core
Values.
- Responsible for the development, direction, and administration
of the instructional programs.
- Ensure educational programs, curricula and student resources
are up to date and follow best practices to meet the needs of
students and the workplace.
- Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the program
evaluation process.
- Responsible for the professional and educational leadership of
faculty, including faculty selection, development, and
evaluation.
- Assure the Company has sufficient faculty to meet the
educational needs of the students.
- Assign faculty to teach courses and ensure curriculum,
governing regulations, policies, and procedures are being
followed.
- Ensure the distribution of school materials and learning
resources to faculty.
- Facilitate routine meetings with student services (admissions
and externships), regional managers, and instructional staff to
ensure all parties are adhering to the Company's processes, goals
and objectives and are following guidelines to ensure compliance
with regulations that effect the company and the programs.
- Promote the programs through informational sessions and
meetings with perspective partners and students.
- Coordinate and assist the COO in the development, revision, and
implementation of company policies.
- Provide monthly report to the COO including but not limited to
the Company's programs, instructional staff and student
performance, and outcomes.
- Assure the creation, processing and maintenance of student and
faculty files.
- Manage escalated student issues by (1) Coaching the
administrative team how to better serve students (2) Stepping in
and taking calls only when necessary.
- Report any issues to the COO that could have a negative impact
on the company including but not limited to personnel
issues.
- Meet with partner school representatives onsite at least twice
a year or as needed.
- Perform campus site visits and audits at least twice a
year.
- Partner with the Director of Admissions and Operations on BPPE
and LFS compliance.
- Partner -with Regional Director of Texas to oversee student
outcomes and academic affairs in Texas.
Qualifications:
- EDUCATION:
- Master's Degree -required
- -PhD preferred
- Vocational Training Credential or Teaching Credential
required
- SPECIALIZED SOFTWARE OR SKILLS
- MS Office 365 Suite, CRM software
- YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- 5 -years of program management in the education field
- 10 years experience working in public and/or private education
institutions preferred
- Customer Service/Communication Skills: Strong ability to talk,
listen and help resolved conflicts with customers. Highly effective
listening skills matched with the ability to communicate in a clear
and friendly manner. When communicating in writing via email or
live chat, you will need to be able to write well, with correct
grammar.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate the team,
work with them to make sure they abide by all company policies and
procedures and are successful in their positions.
- Patience: Possess the ability to stay polite, even in stressful
situations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Creatively manage challenges,
understand available resources and assist students and employees
with their issues.
