Save the Children complies with federal, state, and local laws with regard to accommodations related to this policy.SummaryThe Creative Advisor will help concept, ideate and design programs, ads, films and more with cultural and human insights that connect to the Save the Children brand.You'll solve complex problems; using creativity and design, keeping the consumer/target at the center of all you do. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, with a diverse range of colleagues from other creatives to advocacy experts to local program workers. Using your knowledge of best practices of how creative integrates with others; you'll master the NGO space to define the factors that differentiate the organization in the market.You will partner with the Creative, Senior Director and the Lead Agency and Brand Director to effect change for our brand and for children around the world. This is a new role, and as such, you will have a large stake in how we develop as a creative team.What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

  • Guide art direction, concepting and design on multiple projects (50%)
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Senior Director and Traffic Manager to keep projects on schedule (10%)
  • Motivate and inspire junior creatives, cross functional teams to create integrated and powerful campaigns (10%)
  • Bring proactive ideas to Creative, Senior Director based on known marketing objectives (15%)
  • Work with internal groups, including corporate partners, advocacy and fundraising to inform more relevant, powerful work for diverse audiences and objectives (15%)Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Demonstrated understanding of how strategy works with and inspires great creativity
    • Proven experience working with various social channels, trends, and media to understand audience behaviors
    • Demonstrated proficiency in design tools including Adobe, Google, and Microsoft
    • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
    • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.Preferred Qualifications
