Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our beer division operations team, with alcoholic beverage industry experience. -Under general direction and in concert with the Vice President of the Division, this experienced management-level position effectively directs and has oversight of the beer division network manufacturing and warehousing functions and supporting systems. The incumbent is responsible for planning and forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, supplier selection and qualification, distribution of finished goods, scheduling and reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement activities. The Division operates in a combination of traditional and lean manufacturing practice where operational efficiency leads to desirable financial outcomes.

- - - - - - -Leads the daily activities or the division, responsible for purchasing & supplier interface, inventory management, warehousing, short- and long-term planning and forecasting, compliance, and continuous improvement
- - - - - - -Working in concert with the Vice President of the Division, develops department objectives and carries out the strategy to meet goals in support of broader organizational objectives. Goals will focus on operational quality, cost, and efficiency that lead to desired financial outcomes
- - - - - - -Supports the Procurement Director for sourcing and qualifies suppliers for short- and long-term materials procurement
- - - - - - -Oversees the management of inventory at the Contract Manufacturer facility; raw material, WIP, and finished goods and ensures high inventory value accuracy through effective inventory management practice.
- - - - - - -Working with the Fulfillment team, incumbent ensures distribution of finished goods in an on-time and cost-efficient manner
- - - - - - -In collaboration with senior management, develops short- and long-term forecasts and planning to meet organizational objectives
- - - - - - -Plans and disseminates 12-month rolling production schedule, working closely with the Division Production Planner.
- - - - - - -Maintains First in First Out (FIFO) inventory turnover to ensure products are always produced with current materials and there is zero risk of inventory obsolescence.
- - - - - - -Reports the state of the Beer Division network at least weekly to the Vice President of the Division.
- - - - - - -Develops & maintains a well-staffed organization; conducts departmental interviews, training, development, coaching, performance reviews and disciplinary issues, as needed.
- - - - - - -Working in a collaborative environment with other departments, oversees and supports continuous improvement activities that are lean management focused
- - - - - - -Responsible for all finished goods compliance as it pertains to TTB, FDA and IRC label requirements
Supports or leads key Operations initiatives that focus on reduction of waste and increasing cash flow
Performs other related duties as assigned and/or required

Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline from an accredited university. Master's degree a plus.
At least 7 - 10 years of experience in a supply chain and/or production operations role in a commercial brewery, winery, distillery, or food manufacturing environment with demonstrated experience of increased responsibility to the level of Manager or above
Candidates with experience dealing with high volume (1,000,000 cases annual) preferred
Proactive, self - starter with a flexible mindset and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
