Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Job Type: Contract to Hire About
the Role We’re looking for a skilled Machinist Operator to join our
fast-growing manufacturing team. As a leader in CNC machinery for
the residential, commercial, and architectural door industries,
we’re expanding to meet increased demand and support ongoing
production. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of
quality and efficiency on our first shift. Key Responsibilities Set
up, operate, and monitor machine tools to produce parts per
blueprints and job travelers Select appropriate cutting tools,
fixtures, and work holding devices Execute precise machining
operations within tight tolerances Inspect parts using measuring
tools to ensure quality standards Maintain accurate production
records (paper and digital) Collaborate with supervisors and
maintenance to ensure equipment is in top condition Follow all
safety protocols, including PPE and machine guarding Work with
programming leads to improve designs and CNC programs for
cost-effective manufacturability Required Skills & Experience 2
years in a production machine shop Proficiency with CNC machines,
lathes, mills (manual milling strongly preferred) Ability to read
engineering drawings and work with tolerances Strong attention to
detail and commitment to quality Math skills for measurements and
tolerances Experience interpreting prints and machining processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based tools
Understanding of OSHA and safe manufacturing practices Strong
problem-solving and communication skills Additional Qualifications
Manual mill experience preferred; CNC machinists may be trained
Machinist certificate may substitute for experience at entry-level
pay Candidates with hands-on mechanical experience (e.g., engine
repair, gearboxes, timing belts) are encouraged to apply Why You’ll

Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
