Job Description:

high-mix, lower-volume production for high technology companies,

production. A Quality Supervisor at would play a crucial role in
ensuring the company's products meet these quality standards. Key
Responsibilities: Oversee Quality Control: Manage and supervise the
team responsible for inspecting and testing materials, parts, and
finished electronic products, adhering to established internal and
regulatory quality standards. Implement and Maintain Quality
Procedures: Develop and implement quality control procedures and
policies, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 9001.
Product Inspection and Testing: Participate in or oversee the
inspection and testing of products to confirm they meet quality
standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records
of inspection outcomes, document quality control findings, and
prepare quality reports for management. Problem Solving and
Improvement: Identify and address recurring quality issues, analyze
data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement
process improvements. Team Leadership and Training: Supervise,
train, and mentor quality control inspectors, fostering a culture
of quality awareness and continuous improvement. Collaboration:
Work closely with production teams and potentially customers to
resolve quality concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company
standards, including potentially REACH/RoHs compliance and other
relevant standards in electronics manufacturing. Key Skills and
Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a quality
control or assurance role is essential, with a minimum of 5 years
often preferred for a supervisory position. Quality Management
Knowledge: A strong understanding of quality management systems and
methodologies, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean principles, is
beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality control
software and data analysis tools is necessary for tracking and
analyzing data. Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and
team management skills are critical for effectively guiding and
motivating a team. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify,
analyze, and resolve quality issues is fundamental. Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed for
clear communication with team members, management, and other
departments. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is
vital for identifying defects and ensuring product quality.
Education: A degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a
related field is often preferred.
