policy.SummaryThe Sustainer Marketing Team is responsible for
acquiring qualified new supporters and deepening the commitment of
existing supporters giving on a recurring basis to Save the
Children. Growth of our sustainer audience (recurring donors) is
key to achieving Save the Children's ambition to reach 3 million
supporters by the end of 2025.Reporting into the Senior Director of
Sustainer Acquisition, the Lead Associate, Acquisition Marketing
will support strategy of other offline acquisition channels and
partner with the digital team on web, email and mobile acquisitions
to optimize sustainer conversion efforts across all channels. You
will be responsible for helping to get our message to the right
audience at the right time in the right channel to drive response
and for delivering a seamless journey for new sustainers. -What
You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Coordinate all sustainer acquisition campaigns across multiple
channels and partner with team leads on email, web, mobile, print
and telemarketing as needed for execution in those channels.
- Obtain project/campaign material legal approvals by acting as
lead contact and knowledge base for legal approval process.
- Work as liaison with vendors, brand and other internal
stakeholders to provide creative elements as needed and ensure
proper implementation.
- Manage project plans and timelines with BTS, digital team,
external vendors and others to keep campaigns on track.
- Work with internal departments and external vendors to ensure
proper use of data/segmentation and maximize operational
effectiveness and campaign success.
- Utilize best fundraising practices from within and outside
STC.
- Partner with retention, operations and supporter experience
center teams to ensure a seamless experience and consistent
messaging for newly acquired sustainers.Financial management,
reporting and campaign analysis (20%):
- Work in concert with Senior Director to support the development
of reporting to benchmark and measure the effectiveness of
acquisition tactics.
- Publish monthly reporting dashboard to be shared with internal
stakeholders.
- Support inputs for annual budget creation and reforecasts.
- Manage expenses and track against budget, working with Director
to adjust strategy and spend as needed.Ad-hoc projects and
professional development (10%)
- Assist team on ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as
required.
- Participate in industry benchmarking groups and develop
relationships with peer agencies and international Save the
Children members who are thought leaders in supporter engagement,
acquisition and fundraising.
- Attend conferences and workshops for continuous learning and to
contribute to team's success.Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3
years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, marketing or
communications
- Experience in a fast-paced evolving environment where content
of work, key stakeholders, policies, processes and procedures can
change frequently
- Demonstrated experience solving problems on matters related to
functional areas
- Able to work both independently and as part of a
cross-functional team
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and
externally
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and

the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this
position, dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs
significantly above national average: Target Salary for this
position is $66,300 - $74,100 base salary
- Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average:
Target Salary for this position is $60,350 - $67,450 base
salary
- Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor
Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $54,400 - $60,800
base salaryActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited
to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business
sector, and geographic location. - Save the Children also offers
paid vacation, accrued at least 12 days a year, depending on
paygrade and length of service, paid safety and wellness leave of
at least 1 day per month worked for a full time employee which is
pro rata reduced for employees working less than a full time
schedule, and at least 10 paid holidays a year. Employees may be
