Description: This job is responsible for developing and maintaining
a network of business relationships that serve as a recurring
source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities from
Bank of America Merrill Financial Advisors. Key responsibilities
include responding to customer inquiries and referrals, conducting
interviews with prospective borrowers, determining customer
financing objectives, and advising customers of product/pricing
policies and guidelines, while maintaining regulatory and
compliance requirements of the Line of Business. This position may
be responsible for the provision of residential mortgage loans, and
as such, is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant
to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential
mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry
system and remain in good standing. Since this position requires
SAFE Act registration, employees are required to register and to
submit to the required SAFE Act background check. Failure to obtain
and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary
action up to and including termination. Responsibilities: Manages
prospecting clients and the initial structuring processes, while
determining customer financial objectives and lending needs
Negotiates with the client on lending terms, preparing deal
justification and related documentation, and advising on related
policies and guidelines Maintains a network of relationships to
drive business referrals for lending opportunities Works directly
with clients through final loan approval and closing as necessary
and ensures data quality of client and deal information Provides
guidance to effectively challenge and influence the strategic
direction and tactical approaches of priority decisions Maintains
thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and
regulatory requirements and understands the suite of Wealth
Management products and services to support business requirements
Manages multiple tasks and sets priorities in line with the bank's
overall strategy and prioritization Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in a loan origination role with
significant experience working with ultra-high net worth and
affluent client base Demonstrated success in prospecting,
generating leads, closing business and consistently
meeting/exceeding production goals Strong background in the credit
solutions, ranging from standard to custom mortgage products and
other securities-based lending Significant experience building
relationships with clients Understands processing, underwriting
and/or closing procedures Working knowledge of federal regulations
governing real estate lending Strong communicator, both verbally
and in writing Self-motivated and highly organized Can prioritize
multiple competing tasks Can build and maintain solid referral base
(that is, strong community involvement/ties, established
relationship with assigned Merrill Lynch financial advisors) Uses
appropriate interpersonal styles, communication methods and
approaches to gain clients Understands that the level of service
provided is directly correlated to driving sales volume Note:
Series 7 and 63 licensing is not required but may be maintained
permissively? SAFELO required at time of hire Desired
Qualifications: Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines Strong
computer skills, including Microsoft applications and previous
experience using laptop technology for communication purposes
including accessing rate, credit and loan status information
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility Has a positive attitude
Ability to take ownership/accountability and demonstrates integrity
Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks Bachelor’s Degree in
business or a related field Internal employees who are currently

and benefits information Pay range $60,000.00 - $90,000.00
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience,
education and skill set. Formulaic incentive eligible This role is
eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees
are eligible for incentives as detailed by the specific line of
business incentive plan provisions. Formulaic plans may be
comprised of monthly, quarterly and/or annual incentive
opportunities. Incentives are earned based on the employee’s
