Job Description:
Mechanical Commodity Specialist ResponsibilitiesProgram manage
all sustaining qualifications for Mechanical B parts. Work with
MMEGMESQE Supplier to define and maintain a qual roadmap.
Responsible for documenting and completing the Agile setups.
Responsible for buffer analysis of all B parts and provide inputs
on reducing shortages. Proactively work with Vendors on identifying
gaps between demand and supply and take meaningful action to close
shortages and expedite material, ensuring OTD. Automate metrics
reporting on OTD, E&O, Cancellations, Inventory & shortages.
Maintain and cleanup iValua parts with correct B part Item type on
a regular cadence as well as assist with RFQ & awarding analysis
for all Mechanical parts. Process Reqs and quotes from suppliers
ensuring all documentation is correct and in compliance with our
systems. Maintain and report weekly and monthly metrics.Minimum
Qualifications:BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain
Operations, or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of
material planning concepts and processes. NPI and sustaining
engineering program management experience. Some experience in an IT
related company supply chain. Problem solver with solid
verbal/written communication and facilitation skills. Ability to
collaborate across the organization. Experience driving cross
functional process improvement programs and training users. Strong
spreadsheet & presentation slides skills.Preferred
Qualifications:MS or MBA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or
related discipline. Supply chain experience at system level for
network hardware systems such as servers, storage, switches.
Experience in SQL scripting, reporting tools. Excellent
communication and project management skills.
