As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the
accounting team in preparing monthly journal entries and account
reconciliations as well as performing financial analysis and
various internal control procedures as required to support KDA's
accounting and internal control framework process.

Responsibilities
+ - - - - Prepare monthly journal entries with appropriate
supporting documentation for input into the general ledger
system.
+ - - - - Prepare and complete various balance sheet account
analysis to ensure the accuracy of reported account balances and
prevent the occurrence of "out of period" adjustments.
+ - - - - Prepare other financial analysis as required in order to
provide management.
+ - - - - Provide back up and support to the various accruals as
may be required from time to time.
+ - - - - Support the quarterly and year end external audit
process, by providing required workpaper documentation to support
company Balance Sheet and P&L balances and related
activity.
+ - - - - Assist Managers in the preparation of parent company
reporting package requirements on a monthly, quarterly and annual
basis.
+ - - - - Assist in supporting the administration of the
consolidation system ensuring that any changes and/or updates to
the companies ERP systems are also properly updated as well as
ensuring that data properly reconciles between systems. -
+ - - - - Performs ongoing review and monitoring of compliance
status regarding accounting related internal control procedures
(assist the manager with any requests as needed)
+ - - - - Develops relationships and manages communications with
KDA management and auditors.
+ - - - - Prepare documentation of accounting processes as
required.
+ - - - - Assists with "ad hoc" projects as required including
enhancements to the company's financial reporting system
capability.
+ - - - - Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
Required:
+ - - - - BS Degree in Accounting
+ - - - - with 3-5 years minimum experience.
+ - - - - CPA required.
+ - - - - Internal Control framework implementation experience.
+ - - - - Excellent skills in ORACLE, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and
dealing with IT issues related to financial close and reporting.
Hyperion experience is a plus but not required
+ - - - - Ability to handle hard deadlines and willing to work
additional hours when necessary.
+ - - - - Strong strategic analytical skills, detail oriented and
accurate
+ - - - - Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups and
pivot tables.
+ - - - - Good understanding of accounting concepts and the working
of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
statements.
