Through this Philosophy, our employees are passionate about providing best in class customer service through efficiency, accountability and a sense of urgency all while putting knowledge to work to drive change.As Senior Director, Accounting, you will report directly to the VP, Accounting and Finance Operations and will be responsible for management and oversight of the company's accounting and financial reporting process as well as providing technical accounting advisory and monitoring of internal controls as they relate to accounting and financial reporting. This position will also assist in supporting the Merger and Acquisition process, including purchase price allocation analysis including the valuation of Intangible Assets and Goodwill acquired.The chance to do something meaningful, to challenge yourself, to be a part of change in an industry, to influence change doesn't come around every day.Responsibilities+ Responsible for managing the company's financial reporting process including the coordination of analysis and documentation required to support the quarterly and annual PwC audits.+ Provide analytical support and technical accounting analysis as required to support PwC's auditing efforts.+ Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting package consolidation for submission to the parent company.+ Preparation of the Company's annual stand-alone audited financial statements as well as supporting workpapers for review by PwC+ Responsible for ensuring that general ledger account reconciliations are performed in an accurate and timely manner and that any required adjustments are also recorded a timely manner.+ Development and implementation of the company's internal control framework as it relates to accounting and financial reporting to support J-SOX compliance requirements.+ Responsible for the ongoing monitoring of compliance with the company's policy and procedures as they relate to the accounting operation.+ Develop and implement new and/or revised control policy as required to remediate control risk issues.+ Responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of the company's cloud-based budgeting (Oracle Enterprise Performance Management) and financial consolidation (Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close) applications to ensure that these software applications properly support the company's planning and financial consolidation process.+ Support the company's ongoing M&A efforts by performing:o Post-acquisition preparation of purchase accounting required to allocate the purchase price over the fair value of net assets acquired (including the fair value measurement of Intangible Assets and Goodwill).o Post-acquisition integration of the acquired company's accounting and financial management policies into the company's required policy and procedure.+ Provide technical accounting advisory as required to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS requirements.QualificationsRequired:+ Bachelor of Science in Accounting+ Minimum 7+ years' experience in a Controller position+ Internal Control framework implementation experience+ Excellent skills in ORACLE, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and IT issues related to financial reportingPreferred:+ CPA certifiedNoteThis is a general description of the duties and responsibilities most frequently required of this position.
